本期高藤TALK中，在教師分享環(huán)節(jié)，Linda老師緊跟時事，講述了韓國梨泰院踩踏事件的發(fā)展過程以及當遇到同樣情況時應(yīng)該如何自救。

主題：梨泰院踩踏事件

Theme：The Itaewon Stampede

2022年10月29日晚，韓國正舉行一場萬圣節(jié)狂歡活動，當天出現(xiàn)在梨泰院的年輕人，有十萬人之多，人流量是平常的十倍。

As many as 100,000 young people turned out in Itaewon on the night of October 29, a ten-fold increase from the usual number, for a Halloween bash.

梨泰院酒吧街中一條寬約3.2米，長約45米左右的斜坡小巷發(fā)生了踩踏事故，而傷亡的地方位于其中5.7米的一段，當時這里大約18平方米的空間里有300多人。至2022年11月11日，造成157人遇難，192人受傷。

The casualties occurred in a 5.7-meter div of a sloping alley in Itaewon Bar Street, which is 3.2 meters wide and 45 meters long. There were about 300 people in an 18-square-meter space. By November 11, 2022, 157 people had been killed and 192 injured.

韓國政府把10月30日至11月5日定為全國哀悼期。

The South Korean Government has declared a period of national mourning from October 30 to November 5.

1.培養(yǎng)危機意識，保持警覺。發(fā)覺擁擠的人群向著自己行走的方向涌來時，應(yīng)該馬上避到一旁，但是不要奔跑，以免摔倒；

1. When you see a crowd rushing in the direction you are walking, you should immediately step aside, but do not run, lest you fall;

2.生命第一，學會斷舍離。遭遇擁擠的人流時，即便鞋子被踩掉，也不要貿(mào)然彎腰提鞋或系鞋帶，保管好個人物品，如不慎丟失，也不要留戀；

4. 作為西方感恩節(jié)最常見的食物，火雞有著不可替代的意義，在西方人心中感恩節(jié)吃火雞帶有感恩之意,表達的是一種對上帝的感恩之情。

As the most common food on Thanksgiving Day in the West, Turkey has an irreplaceable significance. In the hearts of Westerners, eating Turkey on Thanksgiving Day has the meaning of Thanksgiving, which expresses a kind of gratitude to God.

不知道在座的各位是否吃過火雞，那大家是否會感到奇怪，只有西方國家的街邊才會有火雞賣，然而在國內(nèi)卻幾乎看不到它的身影。

I don"t know if anyone here has ever eaten Turkey. It may surprise you that Turkey is only sold on the street in Western countries, but it is rarely seen in China.

當年主張改革的英國清教徒不堪承受統(tǒng)治者的追殺和歧視，歷經(jīng)險難流亡到美洲，此地一片荒涼未開墾，陌生的地方到處是野生動物，衣食短缺逢上惡劣的自然環(huán)境嚴重威脅著他們的生命。

The British Puritans who advocated reform at that time could not bear the pursuit and discrimination of the rulers, and went to America after hardships. This was a desolate and uncultivated, and strange place where was full of wild animals. The lack of food and clothing and the harsh natural environment seriously threatened their lives.

生死攸關(guān)的時刻，當?shù)氐耐磷逵〉诎踩搜┲兴吞繛樗麄兯腿チ双C獲的火雞作為食物，并送給他們生活用品和勞動工具，幫助他們建立新家園。這些英國人對危難之時幫助和支援過他們的印第安人心存感激，同時也感謝上帝的恩賜，在每年11月第四個星期四，將獵獲的火雞制成美味佳肴盛情款待印第安人，并與他們進行篝火晚會、歌舞聯(lián)歡，慶祝活動持續(xù)三天三夜。

At the critical moment of life and death, the local Indians sent them captured turkeys as food, and gave them daily necessities and labor tools to help them build a new home. These Englishmen are grateful to the Indians who helped and supported them in times of crisis, and also thank God for the gift. On the fourth Thursday of November each year, they will make turkey into delicious food to entertain the Indians, and have a bonfire party, singing and dancing with them. The celebration lasts for three days and three nights.

火雞在人們危難之際降臨，果腹保命并帶來新的生機。它被看作是美味和幸運的食物，最終上了家家戶戶的餐盤，而這個傳統(tǒng)儀式活動一直延續(xù)至今。

The Turkey comes at a time when people are in need, feeding them and bringing them new life. It was considered delicious and lucky food and eventually served on the dinner plates of every family, a traditional ritual that continues to this day.

介紹完背景，現(xiàn)在可以說說為什么火雞在中國很少見了，很簡單，它在中國沒有市場。由于中國的美食十分的多，并且以雞為主的食材也不少，做法也是多種多樣，并且火雞的做法太過單一，只能烤制，也不能紅燒或是煲湯。又因火雞體型很大，烤出來時油脂很多，肉質(zhì)較其它國內(nèi)雞肉也很柴，不討國人的喜好，所以消費能力自然不行，也就一直無法打入我國的主要雞肉市場。

With the background, now we can talk about why Turkey is rare in China. Quite simple, there is no market for it in China. There are many delicacies in China, and there are many chicken-based ingredients. The methods are also varied. Besides, the methods of Turkey are too simple, which can only be baked, but not braised or cooked in soup. In addition, because of the large size of Turkey, a lot of fat is produced when roasted, the meat quality is also very poor compared with other domestic chicken, so Chinese people do not like it. The consumption of turkey is little, so it has been unable to enter the main chicken market in China.
