From EY1 to EY4, ISA Liwan will accompany students to understand the world, cultivate students" multi-dimensional learning in arts, design, literacy, reading, mathematics, etc. and pay attention to each student"s healthy growth in communication, languages, physical, personal, social and emotional aspects. ISA Liwan International Early Years curriculum creatively combines the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP) curriculum framework with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the UK National Curriculum Standards. Through inquiry-based learning, teachers will help children master the skills of communication, collaboration and independence, as well as the academic requirements of the UK National Curriculum standards (which is also the curriculum standards adopted by ISA Liwan International Early Years) for their ages.

荔灣愛(ài)莎國(guó)際幼兒園為學(xué)生提供沉浸式的全英文學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。除了每周4-8節(jié)高質(zhì)量的中文/母語(yǔ)課程，其他課程均為英文授課。中文課程是荔灣愛(ài)莎國(guó)際幼兒園學(xué)生的必修課，學(xué)校重視讓來(lái)自世界各國(guó)的孩子們了解中國(guó)文化，并希望學(xué)子們能理解中華文化的精髓。

在語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)方面，學(xué)校將根據(jù)學(xué)生們的層級(jí)進(jìn)行分層個(gè)性化教學(xué)。例如，學(xué)生在四歲開(kāi)始就可以根據(jù)閱讀水平進(jìn)行分層閱讀，不同閱讀水平的學(xué)生可進(jìn)行跨層閱讀。在幼兒閱讀課程結(jié)束之際，每一位愛(ài)莎荔灣學(xué)子都將成為自信且獨(dú)立的英文、中文雙語(yǔ)閱讀者和寫(xiě)作者。

ISA Liwan International Early Years provides students with an immersive English learning environment. All lessons are taught in English except 4-8 high quality Chinese/mother tongue courses per week. Chinese is a compulsory course for the students of ISA Liwan International Early Years. The school attaches great importance to letting children from all over the world know about Chinese culture and hopes that the students can understand the essence of Chinese culture.

In terms of language learning, the school will provide individualized instruction according to the level of the students. For example, from the age of four, students can read in different levels according to their reading abilities, and students with different reading abilities can read across different levels. By the end of the Early Years reading Programme, each student will be a confident and independent reader and writer of both English and Chinese.

Every child will grow into a “bilingual” talent in a pure “immersive” learning environment in ISA Liwan International Early Years.

ISA Liwan International Early Years has one homeroom teacher, one associate teacher and one classroom assistantfor each class. The Homeroom teachers come from all over the world, including the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. All teachers have internationally recognised degree qualifications, professional work experience and an international mindset.

ISA Liwan International Early Years provides students with safe and environmentally friendly surroundings as well as abundant, natural materials. Students are encouraged to actively explore and discover the world around them, let students" learning take place through exploration, interaction and games, so they enjoy a spontaneous and real growth experience.

Early Years students will have at least 2 hours a day of outdoor exploration and campus activities that help students build resilience, confidence and relation-building skills through adventure and challenge. We also closely observe and record children"s emotional behaviors and social interactions during learning and activities.

We give our children every opportunity to succeed as they become future leaders.
