我是深國(guó)預(yù)12年級(jí)孩子的家長(zhǎng),孩子選擇的是美高課程,美國(guó)大學(xué)方向,目前已完成ED1和EA輪的申請(qǐng),并還在全力以赴地為RD輪的申請(qǐng)準(zhǔn)備著。
I am the parent of a SIFC G12 child. My child chooses AP courses and wants to apply to universities in the United States. I have completed the ED1 and EA rounds of application. And he is still going all out to prepare for the RD round of applications.

Time is getting tighter, children"s tasks cannot be completed as scheduled, and parents fall into anxiety, and slowly accumulate more negative emotions... 于是,我開始和孩子平等溝通,站在他的角度探討他喜歡的話題。不再以指責(zé)的口吻訓(xùn)斥孩子,而是在逐漸升溫的關(guān)系中,旁敲側(cè)擊、見縫插針地引導(dǎo)。了解他的真實(shí)想法,共同探討升學(xué)目標(biāo)和任務(wù),讓他從邏輯上清楚地知道目標(biāo)和任務(wù)。而我也不再為他的升學(xué)感到焦慮,只是默默地和老師緊密配合,等待從量變到質(zhì)變的飛躍。

終于,減輕壓力之后,他學(xué)習(xí)反而更有樂趣了。作為父母,我們以不強(qiáng)求結(jié)果的心態(tài),盡量不著痕跡地竭盡全力去推動(dòng)和引導(dǎo)孩子完成任務(wù),靠近目標(biāo)。當(dāng)然,也在時(shí)刻自我審視,控制情緒,讓孩子感受到更多的溫暖和支持。升學(xué)固然重要,但以和子女的關(guān)系產(chǎn)生隔膜甚至裂痕為代價(jià),是得不償失的。未來不可知,父母只要給予孩子足夠的尊重和信任就好了。焦慮改變不了現(xiàn)實(shí),只會(huì)讓事情變得更糟。

青春期的孩子會(huì)有各種情緒的波動(dòng),甚至與老師發(fā)生沖突。剛來深國(guó)預(yù)時(shí),孩子跟一位科任老師產(chǎn)生了矛盾。在導(dǎo)師的組織下,我們一家和傅院長(zhǎng)、校長(zhǎng)、任課老師進(jìn)行2次面談后,就把問題徹底解決了。孩子的心結(jié)解開,老師也更理解孩子。更慶幸的是,孩子跟那位老師成為了非常要好的朋友,還一起組建樂隊(duì),參演校園大型活動(dòng)。在導(dǎo)師和老師的鼓勵(lì)下,孩子越來越自信,九年級(jí)的時(shí)候還作為深國(guó)預(yù)優(yōu)秀學(xué)生代表上臺(tái)演講。看到孩子從中收獲、成長(zhǎng),我們也很開心。

1.相信孩子不要小瞧他們
